		<description>Nice article, and I fully agree that the financialization of the economy has been a brain drain on the real economy.  However, the only regulation that is really needed to take care of the derivatives mess is monetary reform.  Specifically the U.S. dollar must be made as good as gold again.  Derivatives like CDS and 90% of the other derivatives traded in the financial market casino would become as obsolete as buggy whips with a return to the gold standard.</description>
